Microsoft’s Github Experiment - A Hint to the company’s new vision

Hello viewers , hope you have been enjoying the preceding politico-ecnomico posts . Now I am bringing some exciting stuff for the Tech lovers . Yes , you guessed it right i am talking about Github’s whooping 7.5 Billion dollar acquirement by Microsoft . The deal which made a huge storm in the industry  . 7.5 Billion dollar is a hell lot of money , it is 30x the revenue of GitHub .

So why did Microsoft make such a move ?? Lets analyse this question with another question - what really GitHub is ?? For all the viewers from the non coding and programming background , GitHub is a version control platform that connects  people from various parts from the world working in similar projects , thus not only saving time and resources but also improving the working of the new version by a diverse set of opinions. In short a platform where developers interact and have a community of their own . Microsoft acquiring something of this sort hints us that the company is trying to make a big leap in the terms of developer based applications , and things like Visual Studio  and other open source software will start coming up more often . They are gonna restrict themselves to this one thing that really made Microsoft what it really is . They are now investing less in hardware and more in software . This was expected after the sad demise of Microsoft lumia.

This move just indicates , and is a good news for computer engineers and programmers , that the future is sure to be dominated by this fraternity , and Microsoft thinks making applications , software , and other developer tools is the potential market of the future . This move also hints us that Microsoft is trying to scale up the limits of Azure , The Microsoft Cloud Service .

According to me this vision of theirs is very apt and is gonna take the company to greater heights as they have understood the future market and the trend very well . The company is trying to inhibit its primitive vision of creating developer tools , the main forte and specialisation of Microsoft . But still the people in the industry are not very sure of this move because of prior failed investment like Nokia .

" But I strongly feel the company has undergone a tectonic shift under the leadership of Satya Nadella, and have made great investments like Linkedin and now Github .. So lets wait and watch how this one turn out …… "

Football a Global Phenomenon - Brand Fifa

Hi people , last night I was watching this game between Mexico and Germany . Hell of a thriller it was . Well I am not a sports columnist , so I will refrain myself from going into the details of the match ( provided of the fact , am so desperate to talk about it :-) ) . While spectating the match , I saw something bigger , something more gripping than the constant counter attacks   . There was something that caught my attention apart from the game . Yes , I am talking about the millions of fans and spectators around the globe . The emotions and drama associated with the viewers all acrossss the world . Why are people so much attached to this game ??? Okay , one possible reason that comes to our mind is patriotism , just the fact that your country is playing out there , and you want to see your nation lifting the trophy on this grand stage . But , there are around 1.03 Billion people out there , who are mad about this sport , I guess everybody’s country aint have qualifieded f...

Fuel cell vs Electric Car...... Battle For Road

We have recently witnessed an increase in electric cars around the globe . The change may not be quite visible in India but in developed economies , this change  is very significant . For instance , in America the average sales of electric car went up by 25 percent in year 2018. Still with so much coverage given to electric cars , automobile giants are up to research on some thing else... guess what ! fuel cell cars . Yes the same fuel cell which we studied in high school, the cell which used to use hydrogen as a source of energy and release steam as output. Isn't it fascinating. Recently Toyota and Nissan have launched their FCV(Fuel Cell Vehicle) in the market and the Japanese Government is planning to build robust infrastructure for hydrogen stations across the country. This gives us an insight that we have two options to run our car from ? What are we gonna chose !! The fuel Cell Vehicle uses hydrogen to run the car and since hydrogen is a very important industry gas , t...

The Recent Political Drift in Jammu And Kashmir

Today was a shocking day for all political enthusiasts as BJP backed out from the coalition government with PDP in J&K. Before discussing the political turmoil of today, I would like to enlighten all my readers with the current assembly seat distribution of J&K. PDP-28 seats  BJP -25 seats NC(National Congress) -15 seats INC(Indian National Congress) - 12 seats The seats required for majority = 44 seats and the current coalition was effectively making 53 seats (BJP + PDP). But now the scenario has changed, but let's see the possible reasons because of which BJP backed out of the coalition. Reason 1-Terror is on rise and BJP doesn't want to be a part of a failed coalition. But these issues are not valid enough because they were exiting since last year so why backing out now ...... I guess something is fishy.  Reason 2- As soon as BJP backed out, CM Mufti resigned from her post giving clear signals that an alternative government with NC and INC is not ...
