Is INDIA changing under PM MODI ??
A person can’t change the entire country. The country can only be changed by its people and I guess to a large extend, our PM has been able to change the mindset of Indians as well as foreigners regarding Indian economy and culture .India’s image across the globe has started shining like gold !!
In general , I want to tell the world that India is coming and no need to fear us .
Many people are saying that I am too optimistic about India and it’s growth . To those I want to tell that now india has started thinking optimistically and no one can stop them . The young gen of India will overcome all odds and make india not one of the best , but indeed the best ! We Indian have tasted growth after near 200 years and this time Indians are very hungry ! We will squeeze every drop of growth !!!!!!
And yeah I am considering China too . If we have courage of seeing India and Indians at top of world then Day is not far when we overpower biggest nations of world ! we have already proven ourself in IT sector. But we still need to do lot of work in manufacturing sector of our country .
Lot of good initiatives are being taken to improve the conditions . Remember india can only change if Indians believe in that . No foreign agency or country shall be considered as a benchmark for developed nation. Our nation is unique and the way we will develop shall also be unique !
Infrastructure is very essential for a growth engine and lot of mega projects are being taken to cater the need of future superpower : India
1. Sagarmala Project: It aims to promote port- led direct and indirect development and provide infrastructure to transport goods to and from ports quickly, efficiently and cost- effectively. The project is estimated to cost around Rs 12,00,000 crore. The government wants to implement the projects worth Rs 5,00,000 crore under the ambitious programme by May 2019.
2. Bharatmala Project: This is Narendra Modi’s Rs 14,000 crore project linking India’s vast west-to-east land border from Gujarat to Mizoram. It will also link to a road network in coastal states from Maharashtra to West Bengal. In a way, this road network will garland the entire country. Modi government is planning to finish the 5000-km road project in 5 years.
3. Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Shivaji Memorial: This will be country’s longest sea bridge at 22.5 km. It will connect Mumbai’s eastern suburbs with the mainland across the harbour through a 16.5 km sea bridge and a viaduct. The project will cost around Rs18,000 crore and completed by 2019. It will connect Sewri in central-east Mumbai with Nhava Seva across the harbour.
4. Gujarat-Gorakhpur gas pipeline:Government-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is laying India’s longest LPG pipeline from Kandla coast in Gujarat to Gorakhpur in eastern Uttar Pradesh. The 1987-km pipeline will carry 3.75 million tons per year of LPG and move from Kandla to Gorakhpur via Ahmedabad, Ujjain, Bhopal, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Lucknow.
5. Delhi-Mumbai Trade Corridor (DMIC)
The Delhi-Mumbai Trade Corridor is a superb demonstration of India’s ambitious infrastructure goals. A project epic in scope, the DMIC is a 1,483 km railway track worked into nine “Mega Industrial Zones”. The main aim of the $90 billion scheme is to create a quick, reliable trade route linking the north of India to the south. Currently, it takes 14 days to transfer cargo along this route according to Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Secretary Amitabh Kant. With the DMIC’s completion, it will take just 14 hours.
Airports, roads, ports and a power plant are also being built under the auspices of the DMIC. The project’s funding is being split between the Indian government and foreign investment – much of which is from Japan. In February 2016, the government announced it was going to invite the project’s first anchor investors to set up business along the corridor in August of the same year.
In the long term, the DMIC’s chief goals are to:
• Double employment potential
• Triple industrial output
• Quadruple exports
• Double employment potential
• Triple industrial output
• Quadruple exports
On economic terms here are few details of changing India:
Last but not the least , let’s talk about Swacch Bharat Abhiyan initiated by our PM Modi .This initiative irrespective of being successful or unsuccessful will create a dynamic change in mindset regarding cleanliness and pollution.
My motto is : if we don’t think we are best then how can we be the best ! …….and if answer is good , pls UPVOTEA person can’t change the entire country.
